The Big Kauri Tree

Tuesday 21 April
The weather wasn’t much better. So another day passed. Mooching around. Working. Watching TV. Eating. Texting. Surfing the net. Listening to music. Reading. Eating. There’s worse things. This may have been the day Laura sat outside in the sun reading. So maybe the weather was better sometimes.
Wednesday 22 April
More of the same, except we all went for a walk to the Tuhua Kauri. This is a fairly big kauri tree about half an hour up the Tuhua Track, nearby where we live/work. It is fun to think of all the changes in the world while it has been steadily growing for 600 years. After that Wyn and I worked and then cleaned until about 9.30pm.
