Back North For a Bit – Snells Beach

Snells Beach patternsThis week we flew back to Auckland to pick up Suzi motorhome and hung out in Pukekohe for a couple of days getting the rearranged diesel heater sorted out. The weather was horrible and wet and we were keen to get out of the big city. So we headed off north through the rush-hour traffic yesterday evening. Once more we were amazed that sane sensible people can put up with the madness on a daily basis.

We came to Snells Beach, a 120km journey north that took 2 1/2 hours. It was worth the effort to be able to wake up this morning  beside the sea.
