New Beginnings … Again ….

Sunset near MosgielOh dear! It’s about six months since I last said I was starting again. I’m saying it again and hopefully meaning it this time. One of the harder things is remembering how to construct a blog post. And add a photo … or two. What seemed automatic has become a re-learning experience.

We are still living in and around Dunedin, mostly in our motorhome. Wyn had a job for a while and now I’ve got a job for a while. We’ve gone through our first Dunedin winter for eight years; arguably the mildest in a long time as well. We’ve done a few house-sitting gigs for a change. And mostly hung out in a large (and well-appointed) field near Mosgiel.

Saddle Hill across the Taieri Plains

Mosgiel and Saddle Hill in the distance, across the Taieri Plains. We’re usually staying along the road that runs away down the middle of the photo – about 1 km before Mosgiel.

The cycling is good around here; it’s mostly flat and there are some nice safe big blocks to ride around.

Our location has a lovely view towards Flagstaff and the sunrises, and it also enjoys some great sunsets in the opposite direction. Now Spring has sprung and Suzi motorhome is itching to get her wheels turning again.

Glad to see you back, although I can empathise as only last night we were admonished for being slack in our blog!
