Mangawhai Cliff Top Walkway
Yesterday was a nice surprise; a fine sunny day. We wanted to make the most of it and set our sights on the Mangawhai Cliff Top Walkway, Trouble was; the round trip needs low tide and that was rather inconvenient. … Continue reading

Backing The Truck Up #3 – Waihi Beach Exploring
Having made a brief discovery of the dam up behind Waihi Beach the day before, I was keen to see if there were any walks to be walked. There are no signs to guide anyone – and perhaps that is the … Continue reading

A Stroll Up Mt Sunday aka Edoras
It snowed at the Mt Somers Domain camping ground the morning after our walk to Sharplin Falls. Not a lot. Not a blizzard. No drifts. Not even inches deep. But it did snow snow flakes. We were quite excited.
