Wandom Walking in Wither Hills

Blenheim from Wither HillsThe first big break from work we had in Blenheim we hung out around Blenheim. We had a few things to catch up with, and some rest and relaxation to do. The weather was warm and spring was in the air. There was an Anna Coddington concert in Picton at Le Cafe – now there’s a little venue that punches above its weight. Great cafe and great concert.

There was time for a few  walks and we even got the bikes going for some zooming up and down the Taylor River that cuts through town. Our favourite walk place is the Wither Hills and we managed a midday walk around our favourite circuit, up Quail Stream, then up the hill to the ridge and back down the ridge with great views over Blenheim and the Wairau Valley.
