Monday afternoon last week we spent a some time in Wanaka. I had a couple of hours for supermarket shopping and wandering along the lakefront taking photos. It was a wonderful day after a frosty start. Calm and clear.
There were a number of tourists wandering along the lakefront taking photos. I blended in nicely. Although I did stand out as the one not taking selfies.
The Wanaka waterfront is a very photogenic and photographed location. There must be thousands of photos taken there most days. It was fun to try for some fresh views.
I like your second photo Ross, almost B&W with just a touch of colour in the centre.
Please, what sort of camera are you using & lens too?
Thanks John. Yeah, I like the almost B&W ones. I’m still not sure about converting photos to black and white – I prefer the naturally B&W-ish ones.
I’m now the lucky custodian of a lovely old Canon 5D – the original – coupled permanently with a lovely old Canon 24-105 USM.
