After our kayaking adventures, and a bit of a rest, and our evening meal, we repaired to the Okarito Beach to watch the setting sun. It wasn’t going to be another sinking-into-the-sea sort of sunset, but that wasn’t going to stop us. It’s a lovely wild beach anyway, any time. I did get distracted for a start by some of the interesting driftwood.
We headed south along the beach, thinking that if we rounded the headland we might see further south. Of course, all we saw was another headland 🙂 However, it was another beautiful evening in a beautiful place, and we didn’t mind.
Often when I take a whole lot of photos, it turns out that the first one was the best of all anyway. This evening was the opposite. This Okarito sunset saved the best for last.
